PrepAir ZBB A Huge Success

On Saturday April 1st 2017, PrepAir ZBB was held at the Alpha Aviation Hangar at the Boundary Bay Airport. PrepAir is a pilot refresher seminar that was introduced by Darlene George and Simon Dennis with the support of NavCanada. The past two years have seen PrepAir seminars held in Victoria and this year they will be held in Boundary Bay, Nanaimo & Victoria with more destinations coming next year.

The April 1st presentation at ZBB was organized by Boundary Bay Control Tower Manager Greg Down with the support of Alpha Aviation (ZBB Airport) Manager Marcello Garofalo. Over 160 pilots attended the event and were treated to lunch and a series of presentations aimed at improving aviation safety and fulfilling the bi-annual regency requirements.

The seminar was by all accounts a huge success and we look forward to the next seminars in Nanaimo on April 8th and Victoria on April 29th.

There are other Rust Remover pilot seminars happening including:
Abbotsford – April 22nd
Grand Prairie – April 22nd
Vernon – April 29th
Kelowna – May 6th
